E-Newsletter - January 25, 2008 Columbia PD On Lookout For Individual
The Columbia Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a man who was last seen on Jan. 19, at the Hawthorne Apartments on the north end of town. The 50 to 60-year-old-man was parked in a Cadillac in the complex’s parking lot at about 10:30 a.m., reports CPD Detective Justin Barlow. At that point a female resident walked by the car. The man rolled down his window and asked the woman to come over to his car. The woman said she feared the man and his actions, and quickly got in her own car and drove away. The male is described as having a medium build with white hair, short sideburns and a receding hair line. He was wearing silver wire glasses with thick lenses and a black leather coat. The four-door white Cadillac he was driving had Illinois plates, a dirty appearance and a vinyl top. Anyone with information about the identity of the man is asked to call the Columbia Police Department at 281-5151. Glenn Grosse continues to recover from injuries sustained last Saturday from falling down a stairwell at Gallagher’s Restaurant.
