The continued falling of snow and sleet today has left area roadways very schlick. Weather Update The National Weather Service is reporting a wintry mix of snow, freezing rain and sleet will continue to fall this afternoon throughout the region. Areas north of Waterloo should receive between 1 to 3 inches of snow and this afternoon. More accumulation of snow and sleet are predicted to fall south of Waterloo, with a range of between 3 to 5 inches predicted to fall today. “If you must travel, slow down and allow extra time,” said Gene Henckler, Monroe County’s Director of the Emergency Management Agency.
