A letter written by Grace Hoffmann of Waterloo was read last night on the O’Reilly Factor television show on Fox News Channel. Hoffmann commented about presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s interview earlier this week with the show’s host, Bill O’Reilly. “We’re avid fans of Bill O’Reilly’s Show,” Hoffmann said. “If me and my husband, Lee, are home alone at 7 p.m., we’re watching the Bill O’Reilly Show.” Hoffmann said after watching the Hillary Clinton interview, she went to her computer and sent O’Reilly an email. Her letter read, “Bill, I was surprised. Hillary Clinton seemed more likable on your show.” O’Reilly then smiled and said, “Grace, I affect people that way.” Hoffmann said she has received several phone calls and emails from family and friends who saw the show. Those contacting Hoffmann after her letter appeared included her friend, Wanda Schaller; and her son David Hoffmann in Texas. “This is my 15 seconds of fame,” said Hoffmann.
