Michael Roever,
32, of Waterloo, died July 4, 2008 at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis
following injuries sustained in a fall at his residence. He was born May 10,
1976 at St. Clement Hospital in Red Bud, the son of Ronald and Kathy (nee
Schreder) Roever. In addition to his parents, Mr. Roever is survived by sisters
Michelle and Anne Roever; brother, Jared Roever; and grandfather, Michael
Schreder of Waterloo; along with aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He was
preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Delores Schreder (nee Bertram);
paternal grandparents Wesley and Mary Roever (nee Wuertz); and aunt, Barbara
Roever. He was a member of Laborer's Local 196, Monroe County Democratic Club
and Immaculate Conception Church of Madonnaville. He was an avid hunter and fan
of Nascar and the St. Louis Cardinals. Visitation is Monday, July 7, 3 p.m. to 9
p.m., and Tuesday, July 8, 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Quernheim Funeral Home. Funeral
is Wednesday, July 9, 10 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Church in Madonnaville,
Father Thomas Stout officiating. Mr. Roever will be buried at the church’s
cemetery. Memorials may be made to Masses.
