Juenger And Mehner Crowned Royalty Of Waterloo Prom

Maeve Juenger and Nick Mehner, center, were crowned queen and king of the Waterloo High School Prom. The event was Saturday night at Orlando Gardens in South County.

Maeystown’s annual antique and garden show, the Fruehlingsfest, is today, Sunday, May 3. It runs until 4 p.m., in downtown Maeystown. There will be 40 dealers offering a wide assortment of antiques, annuals, perennials and herbs. In addition, there is a wine garden, country garden and folk art displays.

 

Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Wartburg is serving all-you-can-eat fried chicken dinners Sunday, May 3, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Carry-outs are available. Adults are $7.50. “Stop on by on your way home from the Maeystown Fruehlingsfest,” said Pastor Stuart Rethwisch.
